Where To Find Vishaps: Genshin Impact

To participate in Genshin Impact‘s “Vishaps and Where to Find Them” event, you must first reach Adventure Rank 20. After that, all you have to do is speak with Katheryne of the Adventurer’s Guild in Liyue. You’ll notice another panel in the expeditions tab after a short dialogue.

How do I participate?

• You’ll see eight Vishaps and Where to Find Them expeditions after each daily reset. However, you are only allowed to complete four of these.
• One S-rank expedition, two A-rank expeditions, and five B-rank expeditions are available. The higher the expedition’s rank, the longer it will take to finish. You will, however, receive more primogems as a guaranteed reward.

Bonus Rewards

S-rank

• Primogems (20x)
• One of the following:
  Hero’s Wit (4x)
  40,000 Mora
  Mystic Enhancement Ore (8x)

A-rank

• Primogems (15x)
• One of the following:
  Hero’s Wit (3x)
  30,000 Mora
• 2 of any of the talent levelling books (blue)

B-rank

• Primogems (10x)
• One of the following:
  Hero’s Wit (2x)
  20,000 Mora
• Mystic Enhancement Ore (4x)
• 2 of weapon ascension materials (blue)

Expedition

To begin an expedition, you’ll need at least two characters. If you want to get the bonus rewards, you should pay attention to the boosted elements. Today’s S-rank expedition, for example, has bonuses for Geo and Electro. When you select Geo and Electro characters, the chance of receiving a bonus reward increases. To get the entire bonus shown on the panel, try to get to 100% (or close to it).

Note: The additional percentages you gain are determined by the boosted element, the character’s level, and the rank of the expedition.

There are 4 slots for your characters plus a fifth for “friend support.” This simply allows you to add a character featured by a friend to the overall percentage.

Once you’ve completed your setups, you can simply return after a few hours to claim your rewards.

Note: Only those who appear on a player’s showcase are eligible to be chosen. Open the Genshin Impact menu and click the pen icon next to your name to see your own featured characters. Then select “edit profile.”

On The Hunt

Keep in mind that adding characters to the Vishaps and Where to Find Them expeditions in Genshin Impact prevents them from being used in the game’s regular/default expeditions. Personally, I’m not sure if miHoYo thought this through, because there’s a chance that newcomers and F2P players will be disadvantaged as a result of this restriction.

Similarly, because characters only add a small percentage to the bonus chance if they’re of the wrong element, those with a small roster may run out of people they can spare.

In any case, there is a button on the screen for “On The Hunt” challenges. These are supposed to provide you with activities that are similar to bounty hunts. They’re probably similar to the ones you’ve become accustomed to while leveling your reputation, in my opinion.

Note: The Vishaps and Where to Find Them event, hosted by Genshin Impact, runs from March 5 to March 12. Even so, you’ll have until March 15 to claim your prizes.
