Pokemon GO: How to Beat Metang (Counters, Weakness, Beat Strategy)

When playing Pokémon Go, players can participate in a number of raids. These raids pit players against stronger Pokémon, with the goal of capturing them at the end. Metang, a particularly powerful Pokémon player, might be a problem. It will be found in three-star raids.

Players can complete a 3-star raid on their own, but they’ll need to be around trainer level 35 and have a strong team to completely defeat Metang. We recommend bringing a friend or two to help you defeat Metang if you’re under level 35. It doesn’t have a lot of flaws, but you can beat it with the right team.

What you need to know

TYPE: Steel and Psychic-type Pokémon.

WEAKNESS: Fire, Dark, Ghost, and Ground-type moves

RESISTANCE: Fairy, Dragon, Grass, Ice, Poison, Normal, Psychic, Rock, and Steel-type attacks.

Metagross, Metang’s evolved form, is a formidable opponent in the Master League thanks to its numerous resistances.
