Pokemon GO – How To Beat Thundurus Guide (Counter and Weakness)
Thundurus counters are all the rage right now in Pokemon Go, as the legendary is the third of the Forces of Nature to enter raids. The incarnate form of Thundurus is currently in raids, but the therian form of Thundurus will be following it up shortly after, with the same counters in Pokemon Go because they’re both of the same types.
If you’re going to take on some legendary raids, here are the best Pokemon Go Thundurus counters, as well as their weaknesses and movesets.
Thundurus counters are essentially Zapdos dressed up as Thundurus. Because both Thundurus and Zapdos are Flying/Electric-type legendaries, the counters are dominated by Rock and Ice-type Pokémon. Thundurus is more difficult to defeat than Tornadus, who is a single Flying-type Pokémon, so you’ll need at least three or four trainers.

Movesets
The possible movesets include four different types, but if you use the above counters, you won’t have too much trouble with any of them.
Three of its moves are Electric-type, which is worth noting if you’re trying to counter it with Landorus or Aerodactyl, but otherwise, you should be fine.
Thunder Shock and Thunder are the best movesets for this legendary Pokemon when you catch it, as long as you’re not fighting an Electric-resistant opponent.
