Pokemon GO: How To Make Great and Excellent Throws Easy Guide
Pokémon GO is a game where there is always room to grow. It’s uncommon to know all there is to know about the world around you, and we’re not just talking about knowing all the Pokémon species, but also everything there is to know about their evolution and capture. So here’s our guide on how to make great and excellent throws with the Poké Ball!
Things to consider
- Capturing legendary creatures can be extremely difficult, especially when it comes to the rewards in research and Level 5 raid matches.
- They have a very low capture rate (2-5 percent).
- The circle surrounding the Pokémon will vary from green to yellow to red.
- This indicates how easy or hard to make a capture, or the Pokémon will have no CP level, indicating that it is too powerful for you to catch. These Pokémon are more difficult to catch and escape from than other types.
- Capturing Pokémon isn’t a trick or a hack; it’s simply a matter of exploiting the game’s mechanics.
- An Excellent Throws increases the capture probability between 70% and 100%.
How to Make Great / Excellent Throws
It comes as no surprise that the odds improve even more based on the type of Poké Ball used and the berries used to endear the creature. When these factors are combined with the throw, you have a 14.45 percent chance of being captured. However, if we only use the basic Poké Ball, which we have always used, the following steps must be followed:
- Touch the Poké Ball. DO NOT release yet.
- Wait until the circle’s diameter is as small and close to the center as possible.
- Wait for the Pokémon to do an attack.
- Be patient!
- Spin the Poké Ball just before the attack animation ends.
- Throw the Poké Ball when the animation ends.
- Don’t forget to aim!
Curveballs
Furthermore to what we’ve already mentioned, you can use your Poké Ball to make curved throws, which not only increases your chances of catching but also gives you additional experience.
- To throw a curveball, start by spinning the Poké Ball in your hand.
- When you throw it, it will draw a parabola in the direction of the rotation you give it.
- If you rotate it clockwise, it will go to the right, and if you rotate it counterclockwise, it will go to the left, as you may have guessed.
- On the other hand, if you make the opposite movement while casting, it will conduct a throw towards the center.
- If it lands within the circle, you will receive extra experience points on top of what you would normally receive.
It takes some patience and practice with ordinary Poké Balls and low-level creatures to get the hang of it!
