Genshin Impact 2.0 – Patch Notes, New Features

Genshin 2.0

From July 21, 2021, players will be able to download the largest update in Genshin Impact history, Version 2.0. This new version was open for pre-installation on mobile phones and computers two days before its official launch.

Inazuma

• The arrival of the Inazuma Islands, which are derived from Japan, will be the most significant expansion to the game. Gamers are expected to be able to travel three of the six islands in Genshin 2.0, with the remainder of the three islands becoming accessible for discovery in the succeeding update.
• Shrine, furnaces, gorges, teahouses, and clan estates will abound on these islands. As the territories of Inazuma are gravely immersed with this element, gamers will also gain access to the latest elemental power: Electro.
• Gamers will also be taught how to grow the plants with the Serenita Pot and given new varieties of wood to use in home furnishing creation. The Perpetual Mechanical Array, Pyro Hypostasis, and Maguu Kenki are among the new opponents introduced in update 2.0; they are all hardcore bosses that will be difficult to defeat.

New Events

• The 2.0 update will introduce a slew of new features, including numerous missions centered on the Inazuma islands. Gamers will have to accomplish missions to raise their reputation and gain access to blueprints for powerful recipes and weapons in the area.
• There will be a four-week occasion named “Thunder Sojourn” in which gamers will earn currency by task completion. This currency can then be redeemed for a free Beidou. The ‘Phantom Flow,’ ‘Ley Line Overflow,’ and ‘Lost Riches’ events will also be included in the update.
