Fans have been waiting for Genshin Impact 2.4 release date for a long time. And now that the livestream is over, we finally know when it is going to be released. The update is coming on 5th January 2022. So, here’s everything you need to know about the Genshin Impact 2.4 release date and more.

Genshin Impact 2.4 Release Date – 5th January 2022

The 2.4 update in Genshin Impact will include, like previous updates, a new banner, a new area and an Archon mission. There will also be events like the Lantern Rite.

According to the new trailer, you can glance a peek at the new Archon mission. This one is all about Ninguang and her Jade Chamber. The Lantern Rite gives us a small look at Keqing, Hu Tao and Xiao.

We can even see the new characters coming out in this update – Yun Jin and Shenhe. Along with that there’s also a peek at the new region of Enkanomiya.

If you haven’t kept up with the news, the new banners for Genshin Impact 2.4 update have already been revealed. In the first phase, we will get the new banners featuring Shenhe and Yun Jin. It will also have the Xiao rerun banner. The second phase will have reruns featuring Ganyu and Zhongli.
