Monster Hunter Rise PC – Review

Our Score: 9/10

In Monster Hunter Rise as part of an all-new plot, you’ll become a hunter. Explore brand-new areas, and utilize a range of weaponry to take down deadly monsters. This is the next edition in the award-winning and top-selling Monster Hunter franchise. A variety of additional graphic and performance enhancements are also included in the PC version.

What is Monster Hunter Rise?

Track down a slew of monsters with individual personalities and lethal aggression. You’ll need to think on your feet and master their individual proclivities if you intend to reap any of the rewards, which include the flagship wyvern Magnamalo.

Take part in an intriguing new adventure set in Kamura Village. This tranquil setting is home to a colourful group of locals who have long been terrified of the Rampage, a cataclysmic occurrence in which a swarm of monsters attacks the settlement at once. You must work together with the villagers 50 years after the previous Rampage to face this ordeal.

With the Wirebug, you can try out new hunting techniques. Wirebugs are an essential part of any hunter’s arsenal. They may use the special silk they shoot to zip up walls and across areas, as well as perform special attacks specific to each of the 14 weapon types in the game.

Classic MH Stuff

Use 14 different weapon kinds, each with its own gaming style, both up close and from afar. Charge up the Great Sword and attack hard; dispatch foes in style with the beautiful Long Sword; transform into a lethal maelstrom of blades with the fast Dual Blades; charge out with the punishing Lance; or take aim from afar with the Bow and Bowguns. These are just a few of the weapon types in the game, so you’re sure to find one that suits your play style.

Each creature you kill will drop resources that you can use to make new weapons and armour, as well as enhance your current gear. Return to the battlefield to hunt even more ferocious monsters and get even bigger rewards! You can change your weapon at any time at any of the Equipment Boxes, so the options are endless!

The best way to play is in co-op. Slaying monsters solo is exciting, but slaying monsters with a squad of four is even better, and a wonderful way to take advantage of the PC’s new visual embellishments and higher frame rates as players dart in and out of the fray, support one another, and pile onto the monster.

Final Verdict
