What is Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem?

Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem Winter

Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem is a stand-alone adventure that takes place between the last two levels of Serious Sam 4. There is no strong continuity to keep new players away. Like in the other Serious Sam games, but there are a few story aspects you’ll remember if you’ve played Serious Sam 4.

Serious Sam has only one weapon to defend himself against his foes: a gun. Treat yourself to a lethal armoury of new weaponry. Including the renowned AK-47 and the unique ‘Perun’ crossbow. Do you want to bring death from on high or do you want to become one with 50 tonnes of first-class firepower? New devices and vehicles are locked, loaded, and ready to carry out your most heinous fantasies.

Even the extraterrestrial invaders feel disoriented in Siberia, which is vast, frigid, and unpredictable. Explore five new levels set in a gorgeous and perilous setting. Including Arctic beaches, barren woodlands, abandoned settlements, and a creepy ghost town. Siberia is huge enough for you to explore and fight for as long as you wish.

Mental is well aware that only the strongest souls survive in Siberia. In ‘Siberian Mayhem,’ a new collection of fearsome adversaries and bosses join the Horde. There are some of the most advanced and terrifying monsters you’ve never seen before.

Feel of Siberian Mayhem

The irreverence of Siberian Mayhem’s humour, which is more cheesy than incisive, can only be matched by the outrageousness of its combat. With Sam spouting ridiculously hilarious one-liners at the most perfectly timed situations, or overhearing the chats of Russian soldiers who dreaded having to meet Sam someday, it is more or less aware of its foolishness. These hilarious portions serve as a pleasant break from the game’s intense, virtually nonstop action, much like a much-needed gasp for air after spending too much time underground. Sam is a walking mockery of the hypermasculine action hero, propelled by nothing more than his own chest-thumping confidence.

Final Verdict

Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem delivers in spades in what people expect from it. Fast and tight gameplay with so much variability. Not to mention it’s still incredibly fun and packed with content. For retro shooter lovers and fans of the series, this is an absolute no-brainer.
