The Genshin Impact 3.0 update will add the Sumeru region to the game, as well as the first Dendro characters. HoYoVerse has recently confirmed a number of characters who will officially be coming to Genshin Impact in the Version 3.0 update. These include the Dendro-wielding archers Collei and Tighnari, and the Electro-using merchant Dori.
Genshin Impact 3.0: New Characters
The three characters will be the game’s introductory characters to the land of Dendro, Sumeru. Two of these additions are brand new – Tighnari and Dori. It is unknown whether all of the three will be released on the same banner, but it is possible.
A 5-star Dendro character who supposedly wields a bow. Leaks have described him as a scholar with a unique style of dress. He has also been said to have tall ears and a tail.
A 4-star Dendro archer in Genshin Impact’s 3.0 update with the teen body model. She first appeared on the game’s official Webtoon. It now appears that she will become playable with the Genshin Impact’s 3.0 update.
Another new 4-star character we will see in the 3.0 update. She is a merchant on the road who has a costume that makes her look like a genie. Her full name is rumoured as Dori Sangemah Bay. She wields a claymore and uses the Electro Element. Her model will use a small body type. According to leaks, she is another Electro healer without the drawback of causing self-damage like that of Kuki Shinobu. She can even heal off-field which makes her a valuable team member for certain party compositions.
The 3.0 update is going to be a massive one and although release dates have not been confirmed, as per reports of early June, the 3.0 update is to be tested for the beta. Reliable Genshin Impact tipster Zeniet shared on Twitter that HoYoVerse is “already starting to recruit testers” for the grand update.
